Hi, I’m Heather Liv!

she / her

I believe each person carries an innate capacity for healing, meaning-making, and growth. Guided by the belief that connection can be medicine, my approach balances evidence-based practice with intuitive knowing, leaving room for both grounded reflection and a little bit of “woo.”

Growing up and spending much of my life and career outside the United States deepened my understanding of the intersectional nature of the human experience. Living across cultures taught me to stay curious, question assumptions, and recognize the many influences that shape who we are. This perspective informs my affirming work with women, LGBTQIA+ folks, and people navigating experiences shaped by race, religion, culture, class, disability, neurospiciness, and other intersecting identities.

When I’m not being a therapist, I’m pulling up my lawn to plant native pollinators, reading crime novels, pulling a tarot card, doing community theater, practicing yin yoga, and following the wisdom of the moon and the seasons.
